Will Crimson agree to join Teclis and Coil’s relationship and make their twosome a threesome?

Teclis and Coil are security officers assigned to the Gracian spaceship the Gemorph, but for the last few months they’ve been living on a small island on Earth where they’ve been learning to become more human-like. Due to the decline of female births on their planet, their race is nearing extinction. But their possible salvation has come from the most unexpected of places. Several of their warriors have found their sparks—or mates—in the form of human females. The Gracians are hopeful that more sparks will be discovered. Teclis has already found his spark, but not one that he can procreate with being his spark is male. Teclis and Coil are unsure if there is a female spark out there for them.

One afternoon something drifts past the Gracian’s early warning system around the island, and when Tec and Coil go to investigate they discover a female floating in the sea. She’s unconscious and badly beaten. Both Tec and Coil are shocked when they discover that this female is the spark to both of them. If she will accept them, their twosome will now become a threesome.

Crimson has spent her entire marriage being abused by her husband. She plucks up the courage, and after much planning, she escapes. But to her dismay, her husband finds her and takes her aboard his boat. After another severe beating, Crimson wishes for nothing but death and throws herself overboard. She wakes to discover that she’s been rescued by aliens. And if that weren’t enough of a shock, apparently two of these gorgeous aliens want to claim her for themselves.

After what Crimson endured at the hands of a man who was supposed to have loved her, she has no desire to enter into a relationship with any man, let alone two. But Teclis and Coil are awfully hard to resist. And when her husband comes looking for her, she discovers just how serious they are about wanting to love and protect her for all time.

  Chapter 1

Teclis, a warrior from the planet Guaturn and the spaceship Gemorph, stood leaning against the tall marble banister, looking at the hallway below. He was waiting for his comrade, Coil. Teclis had just heard some big news. He knew Coil would have heard it too and would want to share it. Just as Tec was about to give up and seek Coil out, he appeared through the front door and immediately, as if he knew Teclis was standing where he was, looked up at him.

“Hey,” Coil shouted from below with a huge grin on his face. “Have you heard?”

“Heard what?” Teclis asked, allowing him to spread the news.

“Amelia and the captain had their youngling this morning.”

Teclis echoed Coil’s beaming smile. “Yeah, I heard. It’s great, right? That’s three new babes now on the ship.”

Coil’s smile dropped as he walked up the huge stairway toward Teclis as if he realized his mistake. “Oops, I forgot.” He sighed before going through other words that a human might use. “Baby, babe, child.”

“You’ll get it. We will always make the occasional slip-up, but that’s why we’re here, right?”

“Yeah, I guess. You think these Earthlings will fall for the ‘sorry I’m from out of town’ excuse?”

  Teclis shrugged. “We can hope.”

Coil reached the top stair and stopped just in front of Tec. Teclis couldn’t help but admire his friend’s physique. His shoulders were just as broad as Tec’s, but Coil had a little more muscle in his arms. He had a trim waist, and Tec knew he had a six-pack underneath his white shirt.

“Do you think we will ever get the chance?” Coil asked, pulling Teclis out of his wandering thoughts.

“Chance to get off this island and hunt for our spark?”

“No.” Tec shook his head. “I know that will happen. I mean do you think we will get the chance to have a babe in the future? That there is someone out there for us?”

Teclis slapped a hand on Coil’s shoulder. “We stand as much of a chance to find a spark as any other warrior.”

  “But what about—”

“Don’t,” Teclis said, interrupting and shaking his head. He gripped Coil’s muscled arms, enjoying the feel beneath his palms. “Don’t give up before we start seeking.”

“Hey you two,” Jikel called from the entrance hallway. “Meeting in the live. In. Room. In five.”

“We’ll be there, and it’s living room. Don’t put a pause between the two words,” Teclis corrected the warrior.

Jikel nodded and walked off toward the room in question.

Coil chuckled. “He still needs quite a few more English lessons before he goes out into the human world. Perhaps we should recommend he spend more time with Sharan?”

Sharan had been an English teacher before she’d been kidnapped, and now she was putting her skills to good use and was teaching the Gracians how to read, write, and use grammar correctly. She was one of the twenty-odd human females the Gracians had rescued from the Kopla brothers several months ago. The Kopla brothers belonged to a species known as the Lesh, who were notorious slavers. The kidnapped females were part of the reason the Gracians had settled and decided to protect the planet Earth.

Trian, the captain of the Gemorph, had promised to protect the planet from any further slavers that came along. But to the surprise of the Gracians, not only had Trian found his spark—the one and only mate to a Gracian that can have the warrior’s youngling, a soul mate in human words—amongst the females, but so had several others. And now, after many yarns of no younglings, new babes were being born.

The Gracians hadn’t always traveled in space. Their planet had been a joyous, peaceful, and plentiful place to live. But for some reason, female births had dwindled in numbers for many yarns, to a point where wars over the last remaining females had taken place. So, the planet’s council decided to build larger spaceships and start seeking females out in other species. But as more warriors departed the planet, it was left unguarded. While they were away, another species—the Gange—had raped and plundered Guaturn.

Warriors returned to the planet to find it destroyed and their females murdered, apart from a small group hidden and barely surviving in a mountain range. Those remaining females now traveled with the warriors seeking sparks and hopefully a new existence. Now, several months after finding Earth, hope had been restored with Gracian-human babies being born.

Recently, an island had been purchased so warriors could learn how to mingle amongst the humans without causing problems. Although the Gracians looked similar to humans in appearance, there were several differences between them. The most noticeable of which was the Gracians’ eyes; their eyes swirled, constantly moving with their emotions. The second big difference was Gracians didn’t have blood running through veins in their body. In fact, they had no veins. They had skin and a heart like the humans, but underneath their muscles and skin was energy. Amelia had given the warriors plenty of reasons as to why the Gracians needed to remain hidden. Such things as widespread panic to war could happen if the humans discovered that aliens actually existed and were on Earth.

“Humans aren’t ready to learn of aliens as of yet. Too many freak jobs, cults, and such are out there. Maybe when the planet is more united you could try, but for now it isn’t a good idea,” Amelia had said.

Teclis sighed, thinking of the warriors on the island. “We all still need more time to learn these humans ways yet, as Jikel just proved, but it’s only been three months since May found this place. Come on, let’s get going.”

Teclis and Coil headed to the living room to join the twenty other Gracian warriors that had been chosen to start the process of them joining the human world. The warriors on the ships weren’t being left out; they were learning to read and write English l
ike the warriors on Mermaid Isle were through the new grammar programs that Sharan had helped set up. There just wasn’t room for hundreds of warriors to bed down on the isle. However, Teclis had sent a message to Trian this morning informing him there was room for maybe another twenty warriors. But with Amelia just having their youngling, Teclis imagined that wasn’t at the forefront of his captain’s mind.

Entering the living area, Teclis and Coil greeted Maggie and Koop. They were a new couple that were also currently pregnant. They were there to build a small shopping area and also turn one of the rooms in the mansion into something the humans called a cinema. From the information Teclis had gathered, the room wouldn’t be like their holographic rooms with 3D images they could walk amongst as well as touch; it was a room with rows of seats facing a large chrono screen. It was a place Sharan had said humans would often take their dates to.

These Earthlings did some weird stuff to get another to like them. Gracians simply touched. If the male or female was their spark, a thin, blue strand of energy would leave the male and enter the female, and that would start the mating heat. The couple would then enter a seclusion for several days where they would mate and get to know each other a little. The humans would call it ‘love at first sight’, but it was really more like ‘love at first touch’.

There was another reason Koop and Maggie were planning to build a shop. It wasn’t as if Gracians hadn’t had shops on their planet many yarns ago, but that was before replicators had been built. Now, at a touch of a button and an instruction, Gracians were able to gain whatever they pleased with a machine. But if they were to learn how to be amongst the humans, they would have to learn about this shopping experience once again. The warriors had been supplied reading material informing them of such things.

According to Amelia and a few of the other human females on the ship, shopping was virtually done on a daily basis. Teclis had read that humans would often spend large amounts of money on several pairs of shoes or wardrobes of clothes. Things seemed to make them increasingly happy. Some of them that were rich could spend vast amounts of their money on what they called flash cars and such.

Teclis couldn’t understand why some humans had closets of shoes they hardly ever wore. It was beyond him. All he had to worry about on the ship was his uniform. But here on Earth, he had a wardrobe of several different types of clothing, from smart attire to blue pairs of denim trousers called jeans. He enjoyed shorts and t-shirts but had been told they weren’t fit to wear in all areas, especially if it was winter and cold. He found something the humans called jeans, form-fitting like his uniform, however even they had their problems like metal zippers. Teclis shivered remembering the first time he’d trapped his dick in one of those things. Damn, they could be used as a torture device. In the end, he settled on loose, black suit trousers and a white shirt. His best friend Coil wore the same, and Teclis thought Coil looked better in them than he did.

Once all the men were gathered, Maggie stood alongside Koop in front of the fireplace, facing the warriors. Teclis watched longingly as Maggie rubbed her swollen belly. Humans were pregnant for nine months, a month shorter than a Gracian female, but with both human and Gracian DNA it was quickly discovered the human females were only pregnant for approximately five months. Koop and Maggie were the first of the couples to have twins. Something that was also new to the Gracians. Multiple births were unheard of on their planet.

Teclis glanced toward Coil who was also watching Maggie. He wanted to grasp his friend’s hand but refrained. He and Coil shared a close friendship, one Teclis was unsure if any of his fellow Gracians were aware of. They shared something he thought might be unique. Coil glanced at him briefly, giving him a quick smile before turning his attention back to Koop and Maggie.

“Take a seat, warriors,” Koop ordered. Once all the men were seated, Koop continued. “Good morning. As some of you, or maybe all of you, by now have heard, the captain and his spark had their youngling this morning. A little girl. They are to name her Faith.”

Some warriors pounded their chests in the Gracian celebratory manner, while others used the human way and clapped their hands. Their cheers though were unanimous. Koop waved his hands in the air, calming them down.

His face and voice changed to a somber one. “Again, as some, or maybe even all of you, have heard, the Lesh came back in force and tried to attack our ships but turned tail and ran when they realized just how many of our ships now protect this planet. We don’t foresee any additional problems from them, but we will remain alert.”

“So why the meeting then?” a warrior named Fetch asked.

Fetch was known to be impatient. Teclis had heard he was close to flaring—a build up of energy that ultimately ended in death—and he wanted to seek his spark out before his end came. Teclis had spoken to the captain about him, reporting he was reckless and could ultimately put this whole project in danger if he didn’t curb his eagerness. But Trian had informed Teclis they had to give him a chance.

“The meeting was called to inform you that several more warriors will be joining you all very soon, and you are required to help them adapt to being on Earth.”

Koop halted once more as the warriors pounded their chests and clapped. This was great news. The more warriors that got ready to seek their sparks meant the Gracians really did have a chance of existence and happiness once more. Again, Koop waved his hands to calm them down.

“The plan to build a shopping area for you has been halted,” Maggie said.

She paused as numerous warriors begin to grumble. This was a needed project. But Teclis and Coil had been informed of the change in the project a few days before and had agreed to what was going to happen instead.

Maggie continued, “As you all know, we didn’t want to use much of your technology on the planet in case of prying eyes and also for you guys to learn how to be without it. But some of your engineers have come up with a small device that can quickly and easily be removed if needed. It will act like your hologram programs to make a shopping experience more real.”

  “More real?” Jikel asked.

“Yes. This program has been installed in the parlor room. You see, if we were to build a shop, although you could see the products on the shelves and ask questions, you wouldn’t ultimately get the experience of actually shopping. Whereas, the program that has been designed will give you just that. If you follow Koop and I, we will show you what I mean.”

Teclis and Coil had been promoted to head security on the island after being two of the first officers to step foot on the isle and knowing what the captain had planned for the place. While both of them knew about the program and had agreed it would be a good idea, as of yet, they hadn’t seen it.

Each warrior stood, following Maggie and Koop toward the parlor room.

“I still don’t understand why it’s called a parlor room,” Coil whispered to Teclis. “I looked the word up, and it virtually means the same as living room.”

Teclis smiled. He’d also looked the word up and had reached the same conclusion.

Maggie opened the parlor room door then stepped aside. The room was empty of the previous furniture and the program was already running. Again, he thought about the fact that humans had numerous names for things; they purchased items at shopping centers, malls, markets, bazaars, and so forth.

Teclis followed the warriors into the room. Rows of different kinds of shops lined either side of large walkways. There were several mobile staircases in the center moving up and down. Escalifter? Teclis wasn’t sure he’d gotten that word right, and he made a mental note to look it up later.

As he admired the shops from the outside, he heard Maggie utter a few words. Suddenly, the silent area was filled with crowds of humans, some carrying items and habitums…no, bags he corrected himself. They brushed past the warriors, oblivious they were standing and looking around the place.

The large area suddenly seemed too small, too crowded. Humans rubbed shoulders with each other, some stood having conversations while others perused the shop windows. Teclis saw several groups of people sitting in a large galley area, a café, and drinking, unconcerned it seemed to the people shopping around them. The noises of the humans talking were mixed in with children laughing, crying, and one or two screaming filled the area, hurting his ears. This was torture!
