Koop's Spark Read online

Maggie returned her attention back to her sister. “Let’s get a cup of coffee. I guess by your nightwear and the thundering as you ran down the stairs, we woke you up. Go put a robe on or get dressed, and I’ll explain.”

May stared down at herself, and her eyes widened when she realized what she was wearing. Koop had noticed that whatever she had on showed a lot of bare skin, but even though May looked very much like his Maggie, Koop didn’t feel an ounce of attraction to her. Yet when he turned his gaze upon his spark, his energy bubbled and his cock rose to attention.

He and his team were wearing trousers that were made of blue denim, something both Amelia and Maggie called jeans. Maggie was wearing a tight-fitted pair too, only they looked a lot better on her than he thought his pair did on him. Her jeans had her arse looking like two ripe Bova pears from his planet. Delicious and peachy.

Koop and his team also wore a white shirt that felt soft against his skin, but as with the jeans, they held no protection, unlike his uniform which had material that was strong enough to ensure that if a fight took place, he would be able to withstand a blade or two. The human clothes were tight but rather comfortable. However, that didn’t help his rising shaft.

“Coffee… Yes. You make it, and I’ll get dressed,” May uttered, her cheeks coloring red as she stared toward Koop and quickly tried to cover some of her body with her hands. Turning to her sister, she frowned. “You have a lot of explaining to do, Maggie.” She spun around, leaving only the sound of her footsteps running a few steps down a small hallway and then stomping up the stairs as she rose to the next level of the house.

“She took that well so far.” Maggie chuckled, walking into the house’s kitchen.

Koop followed her and watched her fill a small pot up with water from a tap and place it on a stand. Before long a sound came from it. Maggie then proceeded to place three cups beside the object and spoon a brown substance into them. It was a novelty to watch his spark wander around the kitchen doing whatever she was doing. Each cabin on the Gemorph had a replicator that could make anything you wished to eat, drink, wear, or use. These humans didn’t have such technology.

Suddenly, Maggie shook her head and cursed. “No coffee for you. A drunk Gracian meeting my sister for the first time isn’t going to go down well.” She smiled at him.

Koop had tried this coffee just once, and he had vowed that he would never touch the stuff again. After drinking the bitter substance, he had been overcome with the most bizarre feeling of unbridled happiness, followed by the loss of a good few hilns from his memory. He’d woken fully clothed in the medical bay with a grumbling Hover injecting several other Gracian males whom Koop had been with when they had tried it.

The human females had giggled as they questioned the Gracians, wondering if they had ever become intoxicated before. No substance had ever affected the Gracian men as this coffee had done. A few of the men aboard the ship had enjoyed the discombobulated feeling and drank the coffee often at social occasions. But when some of the men drank it solo and became violent, Trian had banned any male from drinking it again without permission. However, Koop did find a number of the crew’s antics quite amusing when he watched back parts of the security films they’d been caught on doing bizarre stuff.

A little while later, a calm May was dressed in jeans and a t-shirt, and she had drank several cups of coffee as she listened to Maggie’s tale. Koop watched May’s reaction. It seemed that her eyes widened with every word his spark said. Maggie rolled out her story bit by bit, allowing her sister to take in what had happened to her.

“So, these guys saved you?” May stared across the room to where Koop stood by the glass doors. “And there are three more in a hidden ship in my garden?”

Although Koop wanted to trust that neither Maggie nor May would run, he wasn’t certain that wouldn’t happen, so he couldn’t allow himself to rest. Most of all, he wanted to keep his spark safe. The Gracians needed their secret to be kept for now. Koop had heeded every warning the human females had told him and his crew about the people on Earth. Some of them wouldn’t take kindly to the Gracians suddenly appearing.

Amelia had told him that their appearance could even start a war. That was the last thing the Gracians wanted. There could be many potential sparks here on this planet, along with other females and younglings that could get hurt or killed if a war was to start.

“Can I meet them too?” May asked her sister.

To Koop’s delight, Maggie’s face broke into the most wonderful smile. “Sure.”

Maggie turned her beautiful eyes onto him as if seeking his approval… No, that was wrong; it wasn’t approval. She was asking him to bring the men in.

Maggie was strong and knew what she wanted. The last three days with her had been amazing, and he couldn’t wait to spend the rest of their lives together. She would be his partner in every way.

With a touch to the button on his comm, Koop asked Teclis, Coil, and Nim to enter the abode. May rushed to the glass doors and gasped when the three huge warriors seemingly walked out of thin air and into her garden.

“Oh my God!” May uttered while opening her back door.

The room suddenly seemed rather small when the warriors stepped inside. May walked backward, staring at the three large men, until the backs of her legs bumped into the chair she’d been sitting in.

Koop uttered a few words to his team members as they stood beside him, each male alert and taking in their surroundings before their eyes settled on to the two females.

“And you want me to help get some property, so they can learn how to pick up women?”

  Maggie chuckled. “Of sorts.”

“Oh my God. I’m a woman. Take me.” May giggled.

  “May!” Maggie exclaimed.

“Well, look at them, they’re like chocolate covered…everything. I keep wanting to pinch myself to make sure this is all real.” Suddenly, May’s head whipped around to stare at her sister. “What about the police? You were reported as a missing person, How are you going to explain that? They will want to know why your car was left opened and abandoned, and they’ll have questions about that strange dart thingy they found.”

Maggie turned unsure eyes to Koop then back to her sister before answering. “It is best they don’t know I’m here. And not just them...anyone. There are too many questions that can’t be answered.”

Koop couldn’t stand being apart from his spark any longer. The look of utter sadness that passed over her delicate features tore at his heart. Crossing the room in a couple of strides, he sat next to her and pulled her against his body.

  “But—”

“Stop,” Koop interrupted. He needed the conversation to halt as it was upsetting Maggie. “We spoke about this before we came here. We have no idea of the questions they may ask—”

Maggie lay a hand over his in her lap before interrupting him and addressing her sister. “May, I have chosen to stay with Koop. I’m going to help these guys down here for a while before returning to the Gemorph. Koop is a valued bridge officer aboard his ship, a position he has worked hard to be in.”

Koop shook his head. He wanted Maggie to know he would give up his rank if she wished to stay on Earth.

Maggie withdrew her hand from the top of his and cupped his face. “In the three short days we have known each other, you have given, offered, and loved me more than Todd did in the entire ten years we were married. I never knew how much a woman could love a man until now. I want to return to the Gemorph with you, Koop. I can visit May whenever I wish, as she can visit me, right?”

Koop nodded, his heart overflowing with love for his spark. He wished to take her off to a room somewhere and strip her naked and show her just how much he adored her in that moment.

“Screw visiting!” May exclaimed, sitting in her chair. “Once I find these guys some property, I want to come up there with you.”

Koop turned his head to see May wide-eyed. There was no way anyone could miss her excitement.

p; Maggie laughed. A real, long, belly laugh that had Koop’s attention. Her whole face lit up. It was such a pleasure to see.

“I love you, me unum,” Koop said when she’d calmed down.

He cupped her face between his hands and pressed a light kiss to her lips. It took such restraint to remain sitting after that; his cock was hard and pressing tightly and rather painfully against the metal clasping holding the jeans together. Again, he wished he were in his uniform.

From the corner of his peripheral, Koop saw May sit forward. She cleared her throat.

“I really get to see your ship?” she asked excitedly. “I get to go into space?”

Maggie chuckled again at her sister.

“This is so awesome. Ever since those nights Mum and Dad let us have campouts in the back garden in the summer, and we would look up at the stars, I’ve always wondered what is out there. You weren’t interested at all,” May said to Maggie. “And you got to see it all before me!” she declared with a giggle.

“But even though she did, all Maggie wished to do was return home to you,” Koop said.

Maggie lowered her head and blushed. May stood, rushing over to her sister. Koop moved aside as the siblings entwined their arms around each other in a tight hug.

“All I could think about was getting home to you.” Maggie sobbed.

“You’re here now, and have experienced something I always wanted to. And because of you, I may actually get to see it all,” May squealed.

A moment of silence flickered before both siblings seemingly chuckled and sobbed at the same time. The sisters hugged again before May suddenly stood. “Right then. I suppose I’d better get to work. I want my ride into space as soon as possible!” she said with a wide smile. She walked out of the room then returned with a square, metallic object in her hands.

“That is it?” Nim asked. “You are not going to ask ten thousand questions about us or scream and run?”

Koop laughed out loud. The look on Nim’s face was a picture and a half. He looked so lost and confused.

“You were expecting me to run and scream? Dude, you have a lot to learn,” May said, opening the object she’d brought into the room. “Pfft, men! There’s ya first lesson right there. Not all women are the same. In fact, some are a damn sight braver and stronger than some of the males around here.”

May gazed down at the object before her. It looked to be some kind of chrono screen. Her nimble fingers began running over a set of buttons.

“Run and scream,” she muttered, shaking her head. “I’ve wanted to go into space since I was a kid. No running and screaming here, just excitement. I have years to ask my questions.”

Maggie watched her sister do her thing, seeking out the large property that the Gracians would need.

“How do you intend paying for this?” May popped her head up from looking at her laptop.

“When we first heard your species used currency, it was one of the main things we researched. You have such a variety of ways to pay for things. It was decided, with Amelia and Maggie’s help, that it would be easier to pay with your paper money. We can replicate any amount you wish for,” Koop said.

When the discussion came up about payment for the land, the Gracians reviewed many options, from using their technology to mine diamonds and selling them for cash, to planting a large sum of money into a bank account. In the end they chose replication of paper money. It would be easier and leave less of a paper trail.

For the next hour, May fired off questions as she sought out a place. “How big? Where abouts? Did they want a building or just land?”

“Okay, I’ve found several options, and one of them, I think, is ideal, but I’ll let you decide.” May turned her laptop around.

Both Maggie and Koop leaned forward. There were three places May had chosen. One was in a wooded area in Wales, another in a mountain range in Scotland, but the one that caught Maggie’s eye was an island just off the coast of Ireland.

After reading the provided information about each of the properties, Maggie pointed to the island. “I think that’s the best one. It’s isolated and has enough land to build the structures needed for the men to live and learn how we live. You told me about your homes carved inside your mountains, and that gave me an idea. What if you create the same sort of thing in the island’s mountain range? You could create a small base there with some of your technology hidden inside, like your replicators and such. Plus, the only way someone can get to the island is by boat, so it would be easy for your men to spot any incoming, and you won’t have to build tall fences to stop prying eyes.”

Before Koop could agree or disagree, May clapped her hands in delight.

“Ha! Exactly my thinking. We still so think alike, sis.” She grinned. Maggie returned her smile.

“I agree,” Koop said. “About the island that is. How long before we can talk to the person who is selling it?”

“I’ll phone them now and sort out a time. I guess you want this asap, right?” May asked, standing and reaching for her phone.

  “Yes,” Koop agreed.

“Before we decide, perhaps we should take the pod there and look over the place?” Teclis asked.

Maggie was about to tell the men that buying a property could take a while with all the paperwork, surveyors, and such, when May cupped her hand over the mouthpiece of her phone and let out an excited yip.

“Yes please, can I come too? I’d love to see your ship.”

“It is only a small pod, May,” Teclis replied.

“Well, duh! You aren’t going to land a great big, frigging ship in my garden.” May rolled her eyes. “It is a…” May paused and held her phone at an arm’s distance from her mouth before whispering, “...large spaceship, from what my sister has told me.”

Maggie grinned at the look on Teclis’s face.

  “I was only letting—”

“Tec, I’d drop it. When May gets something in her head, she has a habit of following it through. I’d take her in the pod with you if you want your balls still attached when you get back.”

Teclis’s tanned face paled as he glanced between both Maggie and May. “Then please, you are most welcome to join us,” he said with an affirming nod of his head.

“Yes!” May exclaimed before suddenly speaking into her phone in her posh, professional voice and walking into the hallway, away from them all.

“It is not nice to mention another male’s balls. You should only be thinking of mine,” Koop whispered huskily into Maggie’s ear.

Maggie blushed when the image of her cupping Koop’s balls in her hands as she sucked him off appeared in her mind.

“I wasn’t really thinking of his balls. It was just a passing comment,” Maggie said, defending herself. She turned her head to see a rather amused look on Koop’s face. “You’re winding me up?”

He gave her a wink with a large smile. “Now you’re thinking of mine,” he said, running a finger over her right cheek.

Maggie chuckled, not able to deny that she had been. Before anything else was said, May walked into the living room with a beaming smile on her face.

“Well, it would seem the gentleman who owns this island has gotten himself into a slight bit of bother with the tax company. He needs to sell Mermaid Isle asap. Under normal circumstances, I would have tried to negotiate on the price, but in this case, I’ve offered him cash in hand.”

Silence echoed around the room. Maggie looked up at her mate and then toward the other Gracians. Each one of them had a look of confusion on their face. She turned to her waiting sister to see her frowning. Before Maggie had time to explain to the men what cash in hand meant, May spoke up.

“It means you could be inhabiting the island by the end of the week. He needs to sell the isle quickly and quietly so he can hide the money away before it’s all taken from him.”

Slowly, as it dawned on the men that the island could be theirs and the dream of them being able to train to be part o
f the human world sooner rather than later had each male smiling.

“When do we meet the seller?”

“Today.” May squealed. “He is that desperate.”

Maggie suddenly found herself in Koop’s clutches, his mouth on hers in a heated kiss. She could feel his excitement in the hardness of his body when he pulled her closer. Her curves molded against the hard tone of each of his muscles. Heat pooled quickly in her core, her panties growing wet the more he kissed her, his tongue sliding along hers. His hands roamed across her back and down over her buttocks. His large hands cupped her arse, and she could feel the hard ridge of his shaft rising against her stomach.

“Your sister works fast. My people have a chance because of you both,” Koop said breathlessly as he drew away. With his arm still around Maggie’s waist, he turned toward May. “Thank you, May. We Gracians will be forever indebted to you.” He bowed slightly, showing his honor.

Maggie watched her sister’s face blush red with embarrassment.

“It’s just my job.” She shrugged.

“So, it’s every day that you deal with large acres of land and aliens then?” Maggie asked, raising an eyebrow.

May smiled and stuck her tongue out at her sister. Suddenly, May’s face changed from embarrassed to mischievous. Uh-oh, thought Maggie. She’d seen that look of her sister’s many, many times over their childhood years.

“So, if you are indebted to me,” May said as she grinned at Teclis, “I can ask anything and you might give it to me?”

Teclis nodded with a dubious look.

“Take me for a ride on your ship?” May asked, raising her eyebrows.

  “Pod,” interjected Teclis.

“Pod.” May scrunched up her nose. “Take me for a ride in your pod?”

Teclis looked toward Koop as if seeking his approval or denial.

“When are we to meet this male?” Koop asked.

May glanced down at her wristwatch. “Twelve-thirty.”

“If I have your time frame right, this means we will have roughly a hiln…hour before leaving to meet him?”

“Depends on where the meeting will take place,” Maggie said.
